The Tea Room is open on Wednesdays throughout the season serving light lunches from 12pm and afternoon teas - donations to the garden are always appreciated but not required if just enjoying our tearoom fare. If you wish to enjoy the gardens after your lunch there is a £5 charge.
At weekends you can enjoy a delicious cup of one of our speciality teas with a slice of homemade cake in our courtyard tea room from 1pm to 5pm.
When the House is closed
Visitors are encouraged to use the tearooms on a help yourself basis – prices are displayed clearly for this self-service facility.
The Tea Room
is now open every Wednesday from April to September from 12pm serving light lunches, homemade cakes and cream teas.

Seasonal soup with homemade bread
Quiche served with side salad and new potatoes
Ham or Cheese Ploughmans served with Belmont chutney and pickled onions
Coronation Chicken served with side salad and new potatoes
Sausages and mash served with onion gravy
Steak and Ale pie
Seasonal vegetables from Belmont's kitchen garden will be used where possible

Cakes & Scones
At weekends from 1.00pm - 5.00pm the tearoom serves teas, coffee and a selection of homemade cakes and scones – the selection always varies but usually includes victoria sponge, coffee & walnut and lemon, along with our famous ‘Belmont Cream Tea‘ scones served with clotted cream and homemade jams.
