The Gardens are open throughout the year from 10am til dusk, we look forward to welcoming you on a wintery day.

The House is open for tours from April until the end of September - Saturdays and Sundays, first tour of the day 2.15pm.


Measure for Measure

Some rise by sin and some by virtue fall.

Vienna is rife with brothels, loose morality and ludicrous characters. The weak Duke goes undercover, leaving his strict deputy Angelo in charge to clean the city up. But when Angelo sentences young Claudio to death for sleeping with his wife to be, Claudio’s sister Isobel, a nun, pleads for his life. Angelo agrees to spare him, but the stakes are high. Isobel faces an impossible choice.

Tickets: Adults £20, Child (10-18 yrs) £10 and under 10's free. Please bring your own rugs or low-backed seating (and brollies as the rain will not stop play!). Access the grounds from 6.15pm, the performance will commence at 7.15pm
